I have owned the same Wilmslow Audio Prestige speakers since 2000. They were built by the Hi Fi Company Audiosynthesis and used at the 1999 Heathrow HiFi show. I have gone through various systems while owning them and they have always sounded amazing. I have yet to hear any speakers that compare to them as far as musicality goes and that I could actually afford.
The upgrades John has carried out have taken the sound to another level. The sound staging, clarity and power are just phenomenal. I will be taking the matching Preamp to the A300cr to him in the spring to be also upgraded. I don’t know how much money I would have had to spend in a HiFi shop to get the same level of sound.
