After discussions with John, I recently purchased a Stage 2 Musical Fidelity A308 Amplifier from him. This was an alternative I chose to having John upgrade my existing Musical Fidelity A3.2 to Stage 2. The unit arrived in excellent condition in original MF packaging and with the original paperwork.
I’m running Spendor BC1 speakers and although the A3.2 had been excellent, the upgraded A308 is a quantum improvement in both sound quality and definition. I am so pleased that I followed John’s advice because I am now hearing clarity of instruments and tones that I had previously missed or not known were there. Many thanks John.
