In the audiophile world we talk about the law of diminishing returns; increasing investment for a marginal gain. When my MF A1000 came back from John there was nothing marginal about it. As soon as we powered it up for the first time the difference was astounding. I thought I already had a great amp and John would just squeeze a few last drops of goodness out of it; the improvements in every area have been astounding and the same goes for my beloved Marantz CD10. There is only one down side, I now need to upgrade my speakers…..Go and see John, you will not be disappointed.
