First of thanks John for your excellent customer service.
Now for the review, Good News first I think. There is now doubt that just about ever category you could consider has improved. In some areas the improvement is vast (space, decay, attack, slam, bass depth, weight & extension). The largest improvement was however the silky blackness from which this all emerges (this was already one of the strengths for which this unit was well regarded for).
Now for the bad news:-
1) I now have to listen to every album again to rediscover what I missed
2) Some studio albums are now so poor, they are unlistenable.
3) I now have to save up so John can wave his magic wand over my other MF gear.
